PROGRAMS & OPEN CALLS

R.I.O. — Virtual Art Residency
There are 3 virtual residency programs: Ocean, Our Land, and Sustainability.
They explore key themes such as ocean conservation, sustainability, rooted communities, land, and climate.
These programs are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and endorsed as an official activity by the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
The three programs reflect our commitment to UNESCO's environmental and humanistic goals.
We guide residents to focus on developing a project over 6 to 9 weeks—depending on the program—through weekly virtual meetings, peer-to-peer dialogue with an international community of artists, and insightful talks with guest speakers from science and ancestral knowledge.
Each program concludes with a Virtual Open Studio and an exhibition hosted on an interactive virtual map.

OPEN CALL
From 15 days to 3 months.
A distinct space to create, connect, and slow down—in communion with nature, territory, and community.
TERRA is a small-scale, physical residency hosting one artist at a time, designed for creators seeking space, quiet focus, and a meaningful connection with their surroundings.
Located approximately 45 km from the city of Buenos Aires in a semi-rural community, TERRA is surrounded by nature and a conscious community with deep ties to the land, ancestral heritage, and local cultural initiatives, offering the opportunity to immerse yourself in a different rhythm.
