TERRA RESIDENCY PROGRAM
A space to create, connect, and slow down—rooted in nature, territory, and community.
TERRA is a small-scale physical residency hosting one artist at a time, designed for creators seeking space, quiet focus, and a meaningful connection with their surroundings.
Located approximately 45 km from the city of Buenos Aires in a semi-rural setting, TERRA is surrounded by nature and a conscious community with deep ties to the land, ancestral heritage, and local cultural initiatives, offering an opportunity to immerse yourself in a different rhythm.
Here, artistic practice becomes part of the experience of inhabiting a place: observing its landscape, discovering its ecosystem and community, and finding inspiration in daily life.
At the heart of TERRA is a private tiny house designed to host one resident artist. The space features a workspace, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor area. It is uniquely suited for practices centered on writing, painting, drawing, photography, research, mixed media, and other small- to medium-scale formats.
This is not merely a place to stay—it is a place to belong for a time. An intimate environment offering a personal experience and genuine integration into the local landscape.

FAQ — TERRA Program
Who can apply to this program?
The program is open to visual artists, writers, researchers, and multidisciplinary creators from around the world whose practices are compatible with a small- to medium-scale workspace (writing, painting, drawing, photography, research, mixed media, etc.). TERRA hosts one artist at a time to ensure an intimate, immersive experience.
When does the next residency take place?
The program operates on a continuous, year-round basis, offering flexible stays ranging from 15 days up to a maximum of 3 months. You can select the date window that best fits your schedule within your chosen season.
Is there a fee for this program?
Yes, TERRA is a self-funded residency program. Fees vary depending on the length of stay and the season (low or high season). We invite you to download our official Information PDF to view the detailed breakdown of rates and included services.
What is the application deadline?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We recommend submitting your application at least 2 to 3 months prior to your intended start date to ensure space availability.
How do I apply?
Submit a single PDF containing your contact details, preferred dates, statement of motivation, reference letter, portfolio, and a project proposal or statement of intent via our online application form or by email.
Do I need to submit a fully developed project to be selected?
No. We value open-ended creative exploration and research processes just as much as ongoing project development. There is no requirement to produce or present a finished work at the end of your stay.
Can I bring a companion or pet?
Because the space is intentionally designed as an intimate environment for individual immersion, the residence is equipped to host only one artist per period.
What level of support will I receive during my stay?
We offer flexible support tailored to each creator’s needs:
-
Curatorial Guidance & Mentorship (At no additional cost): For artists seeking external perspective, critical dialogue, or ongoing tracking of their creative process.
-
Autonomy & Independent Work: For artists who prefer to work 100% independently without interruption.
-
Local Integration: Practical logistical support, recommendations, and connection to the local community, agroecological producers, and cultural spaces.
